El desfile de El Sun Bowl está en su 78º. Comenzó como una tradición de día festivo que primero fue organizado por El Paso Downtown Lions Club en 1935. Se celebró el día de Año Nuevo de 1936 a 1978 y luego fue reprogramado para el Día de Acción de Gracias. Recorre 2.7 millas (4.35 km) de la Avenida Montana, empezando por la Ochoa y termina en la Copia. El Sun-Bowl se juega alrededor de Año Nuevo.
