Immaculate Conception Church
La Inmaculada Concepción es una de las parroquias establecidas por el sacerdote jesuita Carlos Pinto. Él planeó y construyó la Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción, en junio de 1893 como la iglesia hermana de Sagrado Corazón. Bajo Rev. Edward Barry, S.J. la casa parroquial fue terminado y la Sociedad Altar y Rosario estableció en 1901. Un año más tarde, la iglesia fue ampliada en 1902 con el techo de madera original reemplazado por un techo con paneles de acero, un nuevo altar instalado, y 16 pies añadido a la capacidad para la iglesia mediante la conversión de la sacristía en un nuevo santuario. La escuela de Santa María fue construida en 1903 en Myrtle Avenue como la escuela parroquial de la Inmaculada Concepción y fue operado por las Hermanas de Loreto durante más de 60 años, hasta su cierre en 1965. En 1977, el padre Francisco Herrera se convirtió en el pastor y bajo su liderazgo , la iglesia se convirtió en el hogar del Apostolado Diocesano para sordos con un mediodía la misa dominical firmó para los discapacitados auditivos.
