El Paso Puerto de Todo
Arte Público Artista: Werc Alvarez Material: acrílico pintura, mosaicos, Senstile, Aerosol El Puerto Stanton de entrada es uno de los tres puentes que conectan a la zona de la frontera Estados Unidos-México, de El Paso TX y Cd. Juárez. El Puerto de Entrada Stanton representa una relación binacional y bicultural con la vecina ciudad de Cd. Juárez con un promedio de 1.2 millones de cruces hacia el norte de un año, los residentes y visitantes pueden disfrutar de la nueva instalación administrativa, el cobro de peajes mejora peatonal y, la construcción de marquesinas en el puente y el pasillo peatonal, áreas verdes, pantallas de información digital, kioscos automatizados de tarifas, y pública obras de arte. Los temas y conceptos presentados en el trabajo es la idea de transformar el arte, la inspiración, la curación, el tejido y empoderamiento de las comunidades. La obra representa iconos nuevos y viejos en nuevas formas. La naturaleza transitiva de la frontera le permitió sumergirse en un mundo inmaterial creado por formas geométricas y patrones. Nuevos patrones emergen dando al espectador múltiples experiencias como las cualidades reflectantes de los materiales reaccionan de manera diferente dependiendo de donde el espectador está de pie y las condiciones de luz cercanas.
