El Estadio del Sun Bowl
El estadio, llamado para el juego que hospeda, abrió sus puertas en septiembre de 1963 con el triunfo de Texas Western sobre North Texas State. El juego de apertura fue un touchdown de 54 yardas dirigido por Larry Durham de los Mineros. Originalmente sentaba a 30,000, con sólo la tribuna de la línea lateral. El cuadro actual de la prensa fue agregado en 1969 y el estadio alcanzó la capacidad de 52,000 en 1982 con la adición de la zona del extremo norte y la ampliación de las tribunas de oriente de la zona extrema sur es todavía vacante con el terreno de tazón cubierto de logotipos de la escuela. En 2001 cientos de asientos fueron retirados como parte de una reconfiguración del tazón con el fin de poder jugar fútbol tradicional en el estadio, reduciendo la capacidad a su cantidad actual de 51,500.
