Holy Guacamole. My mother would send me to see him. I would Ring the bell at the Rectory. He would open the door and give me a Envelope of Quarters. I was 4 or 5 years old. I would take the envelope to my Mother n we ate that night My Mother was Maria Ventura Ruelas Newton. N we lived across the street where he lived. While we lived there a large Oak Tree feel.
So nice to see a picture of Father Gafford. He was at Sacred Heart Church for many years. He married me and my husband in 1969. He was a very good priest. I will never forget him.
