U.S. Soldiers in Mexico
U.S. soldiers are resting and preparing dinner on a long hike into Mexico. The image might have been taken during the Pershing Expedition in 1916. U.S. soldiers under the command of General Pershing were sent into Mexico to find Pancho Villa, who had raided U.S. cities.
