La postal muestra el Hotel Paso del Norte, que data probablemente de principios de la década de 1940. El Hotel fue construido en 1912 por Henry C. Trost. El edificio se hizo de acero, ladrillo y terra cotta. El interior era muy elegante, sobre todo el lobby ornamentado, que fue coronado por una cúpula de vidrio Tiffany. El edificio fue renovado y reformado varias veces. En el transcurso de los años, el Paso del Norte Hotel se convirtió en un lugar de moda para ganaderos, los rancheros, y especialmente para que los huéspedes puedan ver la Revolución Mexicana desde la azotea. En 1993, los Angeles Corporation de México adquirió y le cambió el nombre por Hotel Camino Real. Está situado en 101 S. El Paso Street.
