El Castillo de Chapultepec se encuentra en la cima del cerro Chapultepec. El nombre Chapultepec proviene de la palabra náhuatl chapoltepēc que significa "cerro del chapulín". Se encuentra en medio del Parque Chapultepec en la Ciudad de México a una altura de 2,325 metros (7,628 pies) sobre el nivel del mar.
