Dirigible Graf Zeppelin - El Paso, Texas
El dirigible LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin sobrevoló El Paso en las primeras horas de la tarde del 28 de agosto de 1929 durante su vuelta al mundo de los aviones. La construcción alemana es el dirigible zeppelin más exitosa jamás creado. Voló más de un millón de millas en 590 vuelos, con más de 34.000 pasajeros sin una sola lesión. Durante sus nueve años de carrera (desde 1928 a 1937), Graf Zeppelin hizo el primer vuelo comercial de pasajeros a través del Atlántico, el primer vuelo comercial de pasajeros en todo el mundo, voló una misión científica sobre el Polo Norte, en la primera línea regular de pasajeros transatlánticos cruces por el aire, y ha suscitado un intenso entusiasmo de la población en todo el mundo.En esta foto los espectadores están de pie en la parte superior del techo de la joyería La Esmeralda.
