William Wallace Mills
William Wallace Mills nació en Thorntown, Indiana. Acompañó a su hermano Anson a la ciudad de Franklin que se convertiría en "El Paso". Fue aceptado en la Academia Militar de West Point, pero nunca asistió. Fue miembro de El Paso Lodge # 130 A.F. &A.M. Durante la Guerra Civil muchos habitantes de El Paso fueron partidarios de la Confederación. Mills y su hermano eran partidarios de la Unión. Como resultado, nunca perdonó ni olvidó el tratamiento de Simeon Hart. Hart pertenecía a El Paso Lodge # 130 A.F. &A.M. y los albañiles se reunían en su casa de vez en cuando.
