Remembering Leon C. Metz
Remembering Leon C. Metz
We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of the renowned historian Leon C. Metz. His books and storytelling painted a vivid image in our minds. Leon was a wealth of information, and as the saying goes after his passing, a library burns down. Leon was responsible for working on many biographies of prominent masons of El Paso Lodge # 130 A.F. & A.M. and the El Paso Scottish Rite Valley. Our thoughts and our prayers go out to the family. Leon and his wife belonged to Faith United Methodist Church. Members of the lodge, Hooten and Past-Master Gutierrez also are members.
