Memorial de la Segunda Guerra Mundial - El Paso, Tejas
A través de esta exposición, descubra el espíritu de patriotismo y sacrificio inculcado por los Hermanos Lasallistas en cada uno de sus estudiantes. Honre el servicio de todos los alumnos de Cathedral H.S. que han prestado servicio militar en todas las contiendas de nuestro país. En particular, considere a aquellos que dieron sus vidas durante La Gran Contienda del Siglo XX, la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Aquí honramos a catorce alumnos quienes respondieron a la llamada para servir en defensa de la libertad. Dese el mayor de edad, el Teniente Lionel V.O Smith graduado en 1929, quien voluntariamente se enrolo como piloto con la Real Fuerza Aérea Canadiense antes de que entraran los Estados Unidos a la conteniendo. Hasta el más joven, Soldado James Carr Foester graduado en 944 quien falleció en Noche Buena de ese mismo año a bordo del transporte militar SS Leopoldville hundido en el Canal de la Mancha. El ejemplo de estos hombres valientes continúa inspirando a nuevas generaciones de alumnos de Cathedral, siendo ellos miembros de la Gran Generación de los Estados Unidos Americanos.
