Dr. Walter N. Vilas

Dr. Walter N. Vilas era un cirujano importante del Primer Regimentó de Tejas durante la guerra hispano-estadounidense. Mientras que estaba en El Paso, era el medico del condado y de la ciudad de El Paso por muchos años. Era parte de la mesa directiva de las escuelas públicas del El Paso. Era una figura importante que su nombre esta de recuerdo en la escuela Vilas School.
