Hotel Cortez en 1976
La imagen muestra el Hotel Cortez en 1976. El edificio fue diseñado por el famoso arquitecto Henry C. Trost y abrió en 1926 como Hotel Orndorff en San Jacinto Plaza (desde 1927 Hotel Hussmann). En 1935 se convirtió en el Hotel Cortez hasta que se cerró en 1970. Fue renovado en un edificio de oficinas en el decenio de 1980. Detrás de él, uno puede ver el Mills Building, también construido por Trost & Trost en 1911.
