Tengo sentimientos encontrados acerca de los zoológicos. A menudo me parecen poco más que deprimente prisiones para los animales que no han cometido ningún delito. Por otro lado, me gusta ser capaz de tomar imágenes de tigres, leones, etc, sin correr por mi vida. Y los animales consiguen alojamiento y comida gratis, la asistencia médica y sin miedo a ser acosado. (Aunque en septiembre de 2011 un nuevo tigre macho en el zoológico de El Paso fue asesinado por el tigre hembra residente. Bueno, Tennyson hizo en cuenta que la naturaleza es "roja en diente y garra".) Así, de vez en cuando me pongo a un lado mis dudas sobre todo el concepto de zoo y ir a tomar algunas fotos.
