Ismael "Milo" Valenzuela - década de 1950

Ismael "Milo" Valenzuela con un amigo en la pista. Milo ganó su primer Kentucky Derby en 1958 en Tim Tam. Milo es uno de los antepasados y pioneros de la comunidad hispana y latina. Él es visto por muchos como el "Jackie Robinson" de su tiempo en su deporte. Felicitaciones por su merecido Premio al Salón de la Fama.

The man next to Milo was not Milo's younger brother, But rather, Milo's cousin. Tio Polo was my father's (Aurelio Valenzuela) younger brother. Wonderful tradition both past and present!

The man with the broken leg standing next to Milo is his younger brother , Apolonio who was also a jockey and later a teacher at Riverside High school. He was my Father in Law and a wonderful man. RIP Polo.
