Raymundo Joseph Peña (nacido el 19 de febrero de 1934) es un obispo Católico Romano de América. Nacido en Corpus Christi, Texas, fue hijo de Cosme A. Peña y Elisa Ramón Peña. Asistió al Seminario de San Juan y al Seminario de la Asunción, ambos en San Antonio, Texas. Fue ordenado el 25 de mayo de 1957 en la Catedral de Corpus Christi por el Reverendo Mariano S. Garriaga, D.D., LL.D. Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymundo_Joseph_Pe%C3%B1a El 16 de octubre de 1976 fue nombrado Obispo Titular de Trisipa y Auxiliar al Arzobispo de San Antonio. En 1979 sirvió como Administrador Sede Vacante para la Arquidiócesis de San Antonio. En 1980, Peña fue designado Obispo de El Paso, sirviendo durante 15 años hasta su instalación como Obispo de Brownsville en 1995. Presentó su carta de renuncia a la Congregación para los Obispos al llegar a los 75. Su renuncia fue aceptada cuando el Papa Benedicto XVI, nombró al Obispo Auxiliar de Detroit, Daniel E.
