Mills Calle hasta Pioneer Plaza
La fotografía de 2009 captura Mills Street hacia Pioneer Plaza. El edificio de color amarillo a la derecha es el Cortez edificio. Una vez que un famoso hotel de estilo colonial español, en la actualidad alberga las oficinas y pequeñas empresas. Detrás de él, uno puede ver el Mills edificio, que fue construido en 1911 como uno de los más altos de edificios de concreto en los Estados Unidos. A la izquierda, la Plaza es visible. Inaugurado en 1930, fue uno de los más lujosos de la ciudad y hoteles modernos. Tuvo que cerrar sus puertas en 1991. El Robert-Banners edificio de enfrente es otro ejemplo de estructura de hormigón armado popular durante la década de 1910. Todos estos edificios fueron diseñados por la empresa de arquitectura Trost & Trost.
