Family fled Jimenez, Mexico because Pancho Villa's men were going to kill Aurora's father, Carlos Munoz, who owned a grocery store and resisted giving away goods to Villa's men. Carlos opened a small grocery store at 625 S. El Paso St. Later, the Cisneros lived at 701 1/2 West Main St. in Sunset Heights.
