Opening Ceremony of Blood Donor Center on Ft. Bliss

The Fort Bliss Blood Donor Center has moved into a newly renovated building on main post, and the new facility offers a more comfortable experience for donors, is easier to find and is more efficient for staff, officials and donors said. The Blood Donor Center opened at 2489 Ricker Road, near the Army Community Service building, on April 23. For the past dozen years, it had been located in about a 100-year-old building in Lower Beaumont along Lazear Road.
