El Puente como un espacio publico: Carlos Galinar en TEDxElPaso, Tejas
Carlos Gallinar, AICP, CNU-A, trabaja como el director de planeación para la Ciudad de El Paso, Tejas. Sus experiencias pasadas incluyen desarrollo de vivienda asequible, reurbanización de vecindades, y trabajo filantrópico internacional. También trabaja como un conferenciante para el departamento de ciencias de salud para la Universidad de Tejas en El Paso. Gallinar recibió su maestría de la Universidad de Rutgers y es un miembro del Instituto Americano de Planeacion Certificados y del Congreso de Urbanismo Nuevo. En el espíritu de ideas dignas de difundir, TEDx es un programa de eventos auto organizados locales que une al público para compartir una experiencia TED-parecida. En un evento TEDx videos TEDTalks y oradores combinen para iniciar discusiones y corresponder entre grupos pequeños. Estas conferencias que son auto organizado y local son marcadas TEDx, donde las “x” es la independiente organización TED. La conferencia TED provee una guía general para el programa TEDx, pero eventos individuales TEDx son auto organizados. (sujeto a ciertas reglas y regulaciones.)
