Un ganso nada en el lago en el Parque Ascarate
El parque Ascarate es el más grande parque recreativo de uso público en el condado de El Paso, el cual sirve para los deportes, ir de picnic, pesca y otras actividades recreativas. Abarcando más de 400 acres, el parque Ascarate cuenta con un campo de golf de 18 hoyos par 72 y un campo ejecutivo de 9 hoyos llamado Delta 9, un lago de 48 acres de superficie, un paseo junto al lago, centro acuático totalmente equipado, parques infantiles e instalaciones de picnic. El parque en sí acoge el Ascarate Golf Course (campo de golf) que abarca 280 acres y esta adyacente al lago de 48 acres de superficie dentro del parque.
