Alfonso Casasola, miembro de una conocida familia de fotógrafos mexicanos, llegó a El Paso en la década de 1920 después de varios años en el servicio consular mexicana. Murió el 17 de febrero de 1948 en la edad de 59 pero su esposa Emma Flores Casasola continuó el estudio durante muchos años.
