La imagen muestra a la fiesta de bodas alrededor de la pareja nupcial Alicia Candelaria Peña y Gabriel V. Pena. A la izquierda están Felipe V. Peña y Rita Castañeda Nava ya la derecha son (de derecha a izquierda) Victoria Pena Lerma, Guillermo Córdoba, y Emma Lara Córdoba. La foto fue tomada en 1948 por el estudio de la fotografía Casasola. Es una fotografía blanco y negro pintada. Alfonso Casasola, miembro de una conocida familia de fotógrafos mexicanos llegó a El Paso en la década de 1920 después de varios años en el servicio consular mexicana. Él estableció el Casasola Studio (también conocido por su nombre en español, Estudio Casasola) en 511 S. El Paso Street y era activo en muchas organizaciones cívicas. Murió el 17 de febrero de 1948 en la edad de 59 pero su esposa Emma Flores Casasola continuó el estudio durante muchos años.
