La imagen de los cuatro hermanos y hermanas Juanita, María, Jesús y Raquel Hernández fue tomada por el estudio de la fotografía Casasola en 1938. Alfonso Casasola, miembro de una conocida familia de fotógrafos mexicanos, llegó a El Paso en la década de 1920 después de varios años en el servicio consular mexicana. Estableció la Casasola Estudio (también conocido por su nombre en español, Estudio Casasola) en 511 S. El Paso Street y estuvo activo en muchas organizaciones cívicas.
