La imagen muestra a Velia Gonzalez (Medina), Sara Medina (Leal) y Alicia González Navarro. Aparte de sus nombres, la identidad de la novia y sus damas de honor es desconocida. La imagen fue tomada por el Casaola estudio fotográfico en 1940. Alfonso Casasola, miembro de una conocida familia de fotógrafos mexicanos, llegó a El Paso en la década de 1920 después de varios años en el servicio consular mexicana. Estableció la Casasola Estudio (también conocido por su nombre en español, Estudio Casasola) en 511 S. El Paso Street y estuvo activo en muchas organizaciones cívicas. Murió el 17 de febrero de 1948 ea la edad de 59, pero su esposa, Emma Flores Casasola, continuó el estudio durante muchos años.
