John Wesley Hardin
John Wesley Hardin gano su reputacion supuestamente asesinando mas gente que Billy the Kid y Jesse James. Fue asesinado el 19 de Agosto del ano 1895, en el Acme Saloon en el centro de la ciudad por John Selman, un abogad que habia estado en ambos lados de la ley. Sucesivamente, Selman fue asesinado por otro pistolero. Ironicamente, Wyndam Kemp, quien era el abogado de Selman, y Jeff Melton, el dueno de Acme Saloon, estan enterrados no muy lejos de Hardin. En 1995, descendientes de Hardin vinieron a El Paso para retirar los restos del pistolero y transportarlos a Nixon, Texas. Una orden judicial los detuvo y el juez desde entonces a decidido que los restos de Hardin quedarian en El Paso. Varios grupos han publicitado qur varias figuras de los dias salvajes y "wooly" de El Paso, estan enterrados en el Cementerio de Concordia. Estan intentando de correr la voz que el Cementario de Concordia es El Pasos' "Colina de Arranque", y animando a los turistas que visiten el sito historico. Estando en El Paso, los turistas pueden aprender de las varias culturas reflejabes en la gira de la ciudad y gira de otros puntos de interes en Tejas, Nuevo Mexico, y Mexico.
