Statue at Cesar Chavez Academy, 7814 Alameda

The statue is by Gary Marks. I arrived unannounced early one morning (the front of the statue getting only early morning sunlight) and was told I could not come on school grounds and would have to take my pictures from the public sidewalk. Fortunately, the statue is near the sidewalk and the fence in front of it has widely spaced bars. Good thing I brought my zoom lens.
