German History Happy Hour at EPMH
German History Happy Hour at EPMH
The audience listens to a presentation by Lisa Heinemann, a German volunteer at the EPMH, during the German Happy Hour. The event, held on October 9, 2014, presented music, dance, food, culture and history from Germany. It was realized in cooperation with the German Air Force Schuhplattler Group, Helping Hands and German volunteers. Due to the fact that the German Air Force is based on Fort Bliss, the German community is part of El Paso since the 1950s. Many Germans who lived or live in El Paso call the city their second home.
