Leon Metz es un historiador cultural americano, escritor, personalidad de la televisión documental y profesor de la época del Viejo Oeste Americano. Metz ha presentado cientos de sus programas para grupos de todo Los Estados Unidos particularmente en Texas, Nuevo México y Arizona. Metz también ha hecho numerosos aspectos de series de documentales de la televisión en particular, A&E’s The Real West series (La Serie del Verdadero Oeste), que aparece también en el Canal de Historia.
