El Paso native Reva Reyes posed here with her dancing partner, Mr. Villareal. She became an international actress, singer, and dancer who performed in New York and Europe. She was the daughter of the local band leader Rayo Reyes.

Partner's first name was Leopoldo. Her dad directed the College of Mines and Metallurgy (now UTEP) band. According to Commemorative calendar from UTEP Library Special Collections, Reva was seriously injured in a car accident in November 1939 while traveling in Paris after entertaining front-line soldiers. After healing a fractured leg she continued here career in entertainment.
