Los amaneceres y atardeceres son mágicos, vigorizantes y nos brindan un sentido único de pertenencia, todos bajo el mismo cielo. Representan despertares, comienzos y finales de viajes a través de rosas nacarados, naranjas y vibrantes colores violetas en los cielos. Pasos Urbanos: Una narrativa fotográfica del amanecer y el atardecer de Borderlands ejemplifica y captura historias fotográficas de personas y lugares a través de la familiar e iluminadora hora dorada.

Pasos Urbanos: Una narrativa fotográfica de la cultura fronteriza del centro de El Paso es una exposición compuesta de imágenes enviadas por artistas que viven dentro de un radio de 150 millas del centro de El Paso, incluida nuestra ciudad hermana Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. Esta muestra de fotografías documenta la vida urbana tanto en El Paso como en Juárez. Esto incluye el bullicio de la vida cotidiana, el color y la alegría de los eventos y festivales locales del centro, y la célebre arquitectura que hace de “el centro” un centro único y próspero de patrimonio cultural.

There is nothing more pleasing and rewarding than witnessing the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening behind the desert landscape or urban city life. Sunrises and sunsets are magical, invigorating, and give us a unique sense of belonging all under the same sky. They represent awakenings, beginnings, and end of journeys through pearly pinks, oranges, and vibrant violet colors in the skies. Pasos Urbanos: A Photographic Narrative of Borderlands Sunrise And Sunset exemplifies and captures photographic stories of people and places through the familiar illuminating golden hour.

Pasos Urbanos: A Photographic Narrative of Downtown Borderland Culture is an exhibition composed of images submitted by artists living within a 150-mile radius of Downtown El Paso, including our sister city Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. This showcase of photographs documents urban life in both El Paso and Juárez. This includes the bustle of the everyday, the color and joy of local downtown events and festivals, and the celebrated architecture that makes “el centro” a unique and thriving hub of cultural heritage.
