The pilot on the far right's name is actually spelled Rutty, not Ruddy. It's pronounced nearly the same, though, so it's understandably misspelled a lot. I've been looking online for mentions of his name, and I'd almost given up when I stumbled upon this page. While I’ve found some of his service record, this is the first picture I've found where he's clearly identified. Before this I'd never seen a picture of my grandfather, even though I've had his name since I was born. It's a strange thing to process
