Sun Bowl Parade

The Sun Bowl Parade is on its 78th it started as holiday tradition that was first organized by the El Paso Downtown Lions Club in 1935. It was held on New Year's Day from 1936 to 1978 and then was rescheduled for Thanksgiving Day. It runs 2.7 miles from Montana Avenue beginning at Ochoa and ending at Copia. The Sun-Bowl is played around New Year.
