Col. Garibaldi after Battle of Juarez
The back of the image says: "Garibaldi (camisa blanca) en el patio del cuartel federal el 10 de mayo dia en que se rindio Navarro" (Translation: Garibaldi (white shirt) in the courtyard of the federal headquarters, May 10, on the day of Navarro's surrender) Several well-dressed men are standing in the courtyards of the federal headquarters in Juarez, right after the Battle of Juarez, on May 10, 1911. Some of them are smoking. The man in the white shirt in the middle of the picture is Colonel Garibaldi. The italian served in Madero's army during the Battle and received Navarro's sword when he surrendered. On the picture he is wearing two ammunition belts.
