JLEP Provides COVID-19 Relief to El Paso Community
In 2020 The members of the JLEP Community Council created a Covid Relief Service project. They conducted an assessment and evaluated how JLEP could extend both funding and volunteering by ultimately providing COVID-19 relief to our community partners in need. This year JLEP is proud to share the additional financial assistance given to the following organizations: $5,000 to the Paso del Norte COVID Response fund, which helps with rent and utilities, $3,500 to University Medical Center’s Compassionate Care Fund, $2,500 to purchase PPE, $2,000 to Feed the Frontline, $1,800 to Zavala Elementary providing backpacks filled with school supplies, $500.00 to the Ysleta Independent School District Special Needs Families.
