-El Paso Herald- "El Paso Claims World's Youngest Mason with All Masonic Degrees" George was the nephew of H.E. & G.A. Trost. He was made a mason in El Paso Lodge # 130 A.F. & A.M., received all the degrees in the York Rite, received the 32 degrees of the Scottish Rite, and the degree of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine known as "Shriners". George was an Engineer and worked with his family's firm "TROST & TROST ARCHITECTS ENGINEERS" There is no record of him attending any university to learn the trade. He began working at the firm and learned from his uncles. In years later, George served as part-owner of the firm. In addition, he became the President of the El Paso Federal Saving and Loan Bank.
