Maurey Cohen Potentate of El Maida
| Maury Cohen | Born on September 08, 1926, in El Paso, Texas. He attended El Paso High School and upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps *serving in the 4th Marine Division in the South Pacific. He and his father were in the jean manufacturing business for Levi Strauss & Co. based in San Francisco, California. He belonged to Mt. Sinai synagogue. In masonry, he was raised in El Paso Lodge # 130 A.F. & A.M. temple downtown. He is a 70-year mason. He also belongs to El Paso Scottish Rite and El Maida. He is the oldest serving Illustrious Potentate El Maida Shrine has ever had.
