John E. Wood
John E. Wood a native of Oklahoma. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After his military service, he managed operations in several Sears stores. Businessman and former owner of pawn stores. In masonry, he is currently serving as the Grand Chaplain of the MWGL of Texas; the governing body of masons in the state of Texas. He previously served as District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District # 60. Past-Potentate of El Maida Shrine. Past-Master of El Paso Lodge #130 A.F. & A.M., York Rite Mason. Past Venerable Master of the El Paso Scottish Rite Valley. Recipient of the Golden Trowel. Past-President of the local Rotary Club. He has served on the Executive Board of the Scottish Rite Hospital.
