Goff Rodgers O'Rourke House
This house was built in 1905 and occupied at first by JR Montfort, a harness maker. The Goff family moved in in 1910. Moses Goff was a successful real estate investor. The Rodgers family lived in his house from 1930-1959. Pollard Rodgers (1915-2009) worked for the International Boundary and Water Commission from which he retired in 1979. He most significant work experience was with the Commission, where he was Resident Construction Engineer for the historic realignment of the Chamizal channel and bridges between El Paso and Juarez. Beto O'Rourke and his family also lived in the house. Kevin Taggart and Joe Melomo bought the house in 2019.
