In 2019-2020, the Junior League of El Paso, Inc. partnered with Aliviane Women and Children's Residential Facility to assist residents on their path to recovery from substance and alcohol abuse. JLEP members helped to paint 17 resident rooms; conducted training on job interviewing skills, resume writing and what to wear; provided training on making sense of mental illness; provided workshops on Nutrition and Fitness; held an Adopt an Aliviane Angel project to ensure a bright Christmas for the residents and their children; and transformed the therapy room.
