Pasos Urbanos: A Photographic Narrative of Downtown Borderland Culture is an exhibition composed of images submitted by artists living within a 150-mile radius of Downtown El Paso, including our sister city Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. This showcase of photographs documents urban life in both El Paso and Juárez. This includes the bustle of the everyday, the color and joy of local downtown events and festivals, and the celebrated architecture that makes “el centro” a unique and thriving hub of cultural heritage. Image Description: A picture of a man spray painting. His back is facing the camera. The surface is spray-painted different colors such as orange, yellow, blue, purple and black. The man is wearing a black jacket with the image of a wheel on the back. He has long hair which is tied with a red band.
