El Paso Community College District Established
The El Paso County Community College District was established when the citizens of El Paso County voted to form a junior college district and elected a board of seven trustees to administer the College. There were two items on this initial ballot. One was to establish a community college and the other was to fund it. The first item to create the college was approved, the second one was not.
