San Jacinto Plaza Postcard
San Jacinto Plaza Postcard
This 1940s postcard features the grassy land that was San Jacinto Plaza. The text reads, "Glimpse from San Jacinto Plaza, El Paso, Texas". The other side of the postcard reads, "This famous park is well remembered by all visitors to El Paso in the land of vivid contrasts. The park, located in the heart of the city, is provided with many benches, where tourists and residents can observe the busy city life during the day and enjoy the cool southern breezes in the evening. The well known Alligator pool, located here, is an amusing attraction to young and old".
