Multhauf Family History

My grandfather, Dr. Adolph W Multhauf was a urologist trained by Dr Hugh Young at Johns Hopkins and Dr Frederick Foley at Ankor Hospital in St Paul, Minnesota. He arrived by train on his way out to take a teaching position in San Francisco. When he stopped in El Paso, he looked up an Dr Frank Goodwin an orthopedist who he had met in Minnesota. Dr Goodwin persuaded my grandfather to stay in El Paso and set up his urologic practice here. He then was on the staff of the City Genito-Urinary Clinic, City-County Hospital, Hotel Dieu, Masonic, and Providence Hospitals.
