Aztec Calendar in 1987
The replica Aztec Calendar is visible at Calendar Park at Stanton and San Antonio in downtown El Paso. It was made from a cast of the original Aztec Calendar of ancient Tenochtitlan and was presented to the city by Petroleos Mexicanos, a Mexican state-owned petroleum company. Later it was painted.
