The new corner of San Francisco and El Paso Streets was known as the Center Block at the time, note the name on the building, Prominent El Pasoan Felix Martinez (investments) had his officer in rooms 1-2 in the Center Block Building. Hotel Center Block was located in the building as well, as were Drs. Raum (physicians) and Drs. Strong and Phelps (Magnetic Healing & Massage Parlors). to the right of the Center Block Building is Miss Aileen Berg's Toilet and Art Parlors located at 1 Little Plaza in time, the Center Block Building would later be known as the El Paso Herald Building and the Little Plaza would be known as Pioneer Plaza.
