City Police-El Paso TX circa 1915
A group of men examining a police officer's early model motorcycle with a couple of onlookers in the background. Photo A5282 shows the motorcycle is a Harley-Davidson, interestingly, the tires appear to have "non-skid" imprinted on to them. The group is crouched in front of the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. of Texas (Inc.) located on the corner of Durango and W. San Antonio Streets. The Elliot Garret Co. LTD can be seen across the street (500-50-504 W. San Antonio).
