Cohen Stadium - El Paso, Texas
Andy and Syd Cohen were both famous baseball players and coaches from El Paso, Texas. Andy was the first El Pasoan elected to the El Paso Athletic Hall of fame. His brother Syd followed in 1963. Cohen Stadium was named for the former Major League Baseball players Andy Cohen and his brother Syd Cohen who grew up in El Paso. The baseball team played there from 1990 to 2013.

The stadium was built as close to the mountain as possible, with just the gateway and freeway separating them. The stadium’s famous white tent-like awnings cane be seen in this picture, along with the stadium lights and the desert vegetation that grew so close to the stadium.
