Gertrude Goodman (on the left) was commended by the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, for her exceptional achievements and her many contributions to the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region and the El Paso community. Sarah Catherine Dighton Beane (on the right) was the wife of Tom Lea, the famous painter.
